The Iceman, Willpower and Addiction

What does the Iceman have to do with recovery or drug addiction & alcoholism? Hardly seems relevant that swimming around with the glaciers has anything to do with our lives and the challenges we face. What’s the connection between the 4-minute mile and willpower? Do we need willpower to survive or is it a myth?

Can Willpower Work?

Willpower is such a huge issue in addiction recovery. So many people are so completely misinformed and in some cases delusional about what can and can’t be done about addiction recovery. In this podcast I hope to shed a bit of light on what the mental blocks are that we face as humans and how we can overcome them.

Plato and Recovery

People have been trying to do this for 1000’s of years. Its not new. The best thing that we can do is to be responsible and do the research. Find out what your faced with and what you can do about your addiction.

This podcast was recorded as a series of lectures given to people in 12 step addiction recovery treatment. The purpose of these talks was to teach and motivate individuals to search for their own spiritual solution to their addiction.
